About the position

As a Hardware/Software Designer (PLC Programmer) at SEGULA Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of hardware and software designs in accordance with client standards and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all projects are completed in an orderly manner, adhering to established deadlines, and maintaining compliance with ISO documentation standards. You will be committed to continuous improvement of the hardware and software design processes, ensuring that all aspects of the project are documented and aligned with the organization's quality standards. In this position, you will guarantee the completion of hardware and software designs, as well as the commissioning of projects based on the approved budget from both the company and the client. You will be responsible for managing and updating the processes involved in the development of assigned projects, ensuring that they meet the quality expectations set by the organization. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with various teams, including Projects, Procurement, Finance, and Human Resources, to enhance the customer experience and ensure successful project outcomes. Your role will also involve ensuring the technical capacity of the software used in project development, managing updates, and verifying that the necessary internal and external personnel are available to achieve project goals. Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the completion of the hardware and software design as well as the commissioning of the project(s) based on the approved budget.
  • Manage and update the processes involved in the development of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience with the organization through collaboration with various teams.
  • Ensure the technical capacity of the software and manage updates for project development.
  • Verify the necessary internal and/or provided personnel to achieve project development.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Robotics/Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience programming robots (KUKA, FANUC & ABB).
  • Experience with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, SPOT, and LASER.
  • Knowledge of electrical materials.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP, Roboreal, and Robostudio.
