About the position

The Hardware/Software Engineer Lab Configuration 2 position at Trideum Corporation involves organizing and maintaining the configuration of the Combined Arms Center - Training Innovation facility. The role supports the National Simulation Center's operations by ensuring that devices and network management hardware are synchronized for innovation and demonstration exercises, while also adapting configurations to meet changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the configuration of the Combined Arms Center - Training Innovation facility.
• Ensure devices and network management hardware items are linked and synchronized for innovation and demonstration exercises.
• Maintain updated status of software and hardware to ensure that systems align and are capable of functioning.
• Adapt hardware/software/network configurations to changing requirements from the TRADOC Proponent Office (TPO) STE office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in the Information Technology / Telecommunications, Modeling & Simulations field.
• Knowledge in the planning, development, installation/maintenance, and troubleshooting of LAN/WANS and cable systems.
• Experience in computer systems engineering and network specifications as they are related to product testing and evaluation.
• Experience with network products including Cisco, Nortel, DLINK, Lucent, LVCG, and STE technologies.
• Experienced and skilled in network management systems, software and hardware, configuration, and connectivity.
• United States Citizen.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
