The Hardware Systems Integration Engineer (PCB/Module - iPhone) role at Apple involves working within a world-class engineering team to develop innovative technologies for iPhone products. Responsibilities

• Develop technology solutions at the PCB/module level to meet product goals.
• Collaborate with technology teams to explore process improvements and materials.
• Contribute to cross-functional system and module designs across various components.
• Analyze solutions and make system design trade-offs.
• Utilize lab test equipment to debug hardware issues.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with electrical system integration and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with schematic capture and rigid/flexible PCB layout.
• Broad experience across different applications and technologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of industry experience or 2+ years of project lead experience.
• Exposure to solving unwanted coupling and interference between subsystems.
• Design of complex system architectures.
• Familiarity with challenges of product development from early architecture to production.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment for debugging.
• Understanding of low voltage power regulation and delivery.
• Experience in prototype design and validation of custom silicon.
• Ability to use scripting languages for hardware development.
