About the position

The position involves the design and development of test programs to ensure the functionality and integrity of defense and intelligence products. The role requires writing test procedures, debugging hardware and software, and supporting the testing of various systems and subsystems. The candidate will work closely with customer specifications and contribute to the design process while managing costs and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test programs to measure product functionality and integrity.
  • Write test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability.
  • Debug test hardware and software.
  • Complete assigned tasks on time and within budget.
  • Analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
  • Use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software as needed.
  • Report progress and status regularly to stakeholders.
  • Review customer specifications and develop designs to support them, considering cost.
  • Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments.
  • Specify and evaluate supplier components and services.
  • Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks.
  • Communicate effectively with company personnel and customers.
  • Participate in the preparation of less-complex proposals.
  • Provide technical knowledge and assistance to other engineers and support personnel.
  • Attend engineering, customer, or business meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
