About the position

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is integral to our mission of transforming military capabilities through advanced technology. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work in a multi-disciplinary environment focused on the design, fabrication, and flight testing of advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about taking projects from conceptualization through to production, contributing to the development of cutting-edge systems that leverage autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of electrical engineering, including board bring-up, quality assurance documentation, and the development of technical drawings and documentation. You will also engage in power circuit design and the development of products based on CAN and Ethernet technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, be able to work under tight deadlines, and have a solid foundation in electrical or computer engineering, as evidenced by a B.S. degree in the field and at least one year of relevant experience. Responsibilities

  • Design and fabricate advanced Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
  • Perform board bring-up and ensure quality assurance documentation is maintained.
  • Develop checklists and procedures for designs.
  • Create technical drawings and documentation for electrical systems.
  • Design power circuits and develop CAN and Ethernet-based products.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Experience performing board bring-up.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Experience developing checklists and procedures for developed designs.
  • Experience developing technical drawings and documentation.
  • Experience with power circuit design.
  • Experience developing CAN and Ethernet based products.
  • Willingness to work under tight deadlines.
  • U.S. Person Status is required to access controlled data.

Nice-to-haves

  • Schematic and layout design experience in Altium.
  • Experience developing firmware for microcontrollers (MCUs).
  • Experience modeling in Solidworks.
  • Experience performing Power Distribution Network (PDN) analysis.
  • Experience with differential pair routing and debugging.
  • Proficient in soldering.
