About the position

As a Hardware Test Engineer at Oasis Systems LLC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the FAA - PSS Contract within the Civilian Division. This position is based in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and is a full-time role that requires a commitment to excellence in system testing. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing the performance and reliability of systems that serve our nation's Civilian, Defense, and Space communities. Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that systems meet the required specifications and function effectively in real-world scenarios. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with requirements verification and tracking for the EIDS system, focusing specifically on system testing. You will help identify potential inconsistencies and usability issues related to changes in the EIDS and related systems. Your expertise will be essential in the development of testing strategies, including test planning, test step creation, and execution. You will also interface with user teams, system engineers, and other program personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the testing process. Additionally, you will be tasked with producing briefing materials as required and providing ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant projects that impact the safety and efficiency of air traffic systems. Your ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance and your U.S. Citizenship will be essential for this role, as it involves working closely with federal agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with requirements verification and tracking for the EIDS system with specific focus on system testing.
  • Assisting with identifying potential inconsistencies and usability issues as they relate to any changes in EIDS and related systems.
  • Assisting with testing development, test planning, test step creation and execution.
  • Interfacing with user teams, system engineers and other program personnel as necessary.
  • Producing briefing materials as required.
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
  • 10 or more years of System Testing experience in the En Route or Terminal environment supporting test efforts at the FAA Tech Center.
