About the position

The Hardware Test Engineer will join the Silicon Operations team at a large networking company in the Bay Area, focusing on ATE test bring up in the post-silicon lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with the ASIC team to develop tests, characterize units, and debug chip issues, ensuring quality through failure analysis and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the ASIC team to bring up tests and characterize units.
• Debug chip issues and provide insights to production and DFT.
• Conduct quality testing on high volumes of products to drive failure analysis and root cause corrective actions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with ASIC chips performing hands-on testing.
• Strong experience with Silicon Validation.
• Proficient in using Advantest 93000 tester for product testing.
• Experience in debugging and failure analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Background in semiconductors within enterprise companies.
• Proficient in Python scripting, C, C++, and PERL.
