About the position

The Hardware Test Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing custom Xilinx RFSoC solutions with integrated optical interfaces. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create innovative hardware solutions that meet client needs, along with performing simulations and testing to validate design performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Xilinx RFSoC solutions with integrated optical interfaces.
• Collaborate with software and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
• Perform simulations and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues during the development and testing phases.
• Document design specifications, test procedures, and results.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in RFSoC technology and optical communication systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing with Xilinx RFSoC technology.
• Strong understanding of optical communication systems and interfaces.
• Proficiency in hardware design tools such as Vivado, MATLAB, and other relevant software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with high-speed data converters and signal processing.
• Knowledge of FPGA design and implementation.
• Familiarity with industry standards and protocols related to RF and optical communications.
