About the position

This internship is designed to provide meaningful, fast-paced, and real-life work experiences that align with your career and academic goals. As an intern, you will have the chance to contribute to the design and development of verification hardware and test application software, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment. The internship will take place on-site at either our headquarters in North Reading, MA, or our office in Deer Park, IL, with flexibility for a duration of 3 to 9 months. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. During your time with us, you will assist in debugging and characterizing prototype hardware and circuits, support test preparation and execution, and engage in troubleshooting and software debugging. Additionally, you will perform data analysis and statistical evaluations of products, presenting your findings and conclusions to a broad audience. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and tackle ambitious tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in the field of hardware verification engineering, while contributing to our mission of customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of design verification hardware and test application software.
  • Debug and characterize prototype hardware and circuits.
  • Support test preparation and execution, troubleshooting, and software debug.
  • Perform data analysis and statistical evaluation of products.
  • Present data, findings, and conclusions to a broad audience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of coursework.
  • Understanding of analog circuit principles.
  • Programming knowledge using C, C#, C++, or Python is desired.
  • Motivated to learn and willing to tackle ambitious tasks.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of RF and Microwave concepts is a plus.
  • Prior intern experience is a plus.
