Responsibilities

• Sand, stain, and finish hardwood floors according to Monroe Floor Resurfacing's high standards.
• Perform repairs, patchwork, and replacement of damaged wood as needed.
• Use specialized equipment and tools safely and efficiently, including dustless sanding machines.
• Apply finishes with precision to achieve desired sheen and durability.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency and a flawless finish.
• Interact with clients professionally, answer questions, and explain the refinishing process as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
• Follow safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardwood floor refinishing.
• Strong knowledge of various wood species and their refinishing requirements.
• Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and tools.
• Ability to match stains and finishes to existing woodwork when required.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and good communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
