About the position

The Harness Fabricator position at Nextant Aerospace Flexjet involves the fabrication and assembly of wiring harnesses for aircraft installation. The role requires a high level of quality and precision in electrical work, including various fabrication processes and inspections to ensure compliance with aviation standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality for aircraft installation.
• Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes including wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination, and assembly.
• Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment.
• Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits.
• Perform kitting fabrication/operations as designed.
• Ensure work meets quality standards set by the organization.
• Complete all required paperwork and computer documentation for harness and component fabrication.
• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 highly desired.
• Understanding of avionics and electrical wiring diagrams and circuits is preferred.
• Knowledge of various wire harness tools including manual and crimpers is preferred.
• Prior experience in electrical harness fabrication is a plus.
• Prior aviation electrical experience is a plus.
• Fanatical attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experienced with all MS Office suites.
