About the position

The Harvest Lead at Trulieve is responsible for overseeing a team of 15-30 employees in the harvesting process of cannabis plants. This role involves training staff on proper harvest techniques, ensuring quality control during the harvest, and maintaining effective communication with management and team members. The ideal candidate will be comfortable both directing others and performing hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of the harvest operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Team Leads and Harvest Specialists, providing daily workflow direction.
• Train all employees on proper harvest techniques and provide daily advice or assistance.
• Supervise a group of 15-30 people efficiently.
• Direct team leads in planning and executing procedures and schedules with Harvest Specialists.
• Diagnose plant health issues and develop solutions for harvesting.
• Maintain open communication with management and coworkers, providing verbal directives and training information.
• Implement improvements through problem solving and process development.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of harvest techniques and cannabis pests/diseases.
• Prior experience harvesting cannabis in different environments with various techniques.
• Strong understanding of common grow room equipment including electrical systems, light fixtures, timers, irrigation systems, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and plumbing.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.
