This position involves working in various roles within the Harvest department at Tyson Foods, requiring physical stamina and the ability to handle meat products in a challenging environment. Responsibilities
- Work in various positions within the Harvest department.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
- Stand for 8-10 hours a day in a hot, wet, and humid environment.
- Use knives and hooks to remove hides from cattle and trim large pieces of product.
- Operate powered equipment such as saws or air knives.
- Perform tasks in extreme temperatures ranging from 80-100 degrees.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods (8-10 hours).
- Ability to work in a hot, wet, and humid environment.
- Must provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
- Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment.
