About The Position

The position involves humane handling and hanging of live birds from a conveyor belt onto shackles at a rate of 35 BPM. Employees must maintain housekeeping on the floor and keep track of DOA's (Dead on Arrival) while on the floor. The job requires working in hot, humid, dirty, dusty, and malodorous conditions, and involves collaboration with others while rotating as directed on the belt. Employees must be able to work the first hole on the belt and advance the belt using a knee button. It is important that candidates are not subject to motion sickness. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in hot, humid, dirty, dusty, and malodorous conditions.
