Haul Truck Operator

About the position

Are you an experienced Haul Truck Operator who takes pride in the safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment in a surface pit environment? At Ledcor, you'll operate a 100-ton haul truck to transport waste and mineral materials, supporting site development operations. Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate Cat 777 and Komatsu 785 haul trucks to meet production targets
• Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
• Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
• Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
• Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum one year of mining experience is preferred
• Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
