About the position

We are looking for a talented Event Photographer/Videographer to capture the essence of a lively bachelorette pub crawl in Austin, Texas. This exciting opportunity is set for the beginning of September, with the exact date to be confirmed. The event will take place in the evening, approximately from 5:30/6:30 PM to 7:30/8:30 PM. As a photographer and videographer, you will be responsible for documenting the fun and festive atmosphere of the event, which will feature a group of 6-8 people enjoying drinks, listening to ghost stories, and having a great time. Your role will involve not only capturing high-quality photos and engaging video clips but also editing them to meet professional standards and align with the agreed-upon style. You will need to bring your own lighting equipment if necessary, while we will handle the locations and provide props for the shoot. All deliverables must be approved and submitted by September 15th, ensuring a tight turnaround for the final content. This is a contract position with compensation set at $500 for a 2-hour shoot, making it a fantastic opportunity for those looking to showcase their creativity in a vibrant setting.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and engaging video clips during the bachelorette pub crawl.
• Provide at least 50 high-quality photos and 25 short video clips as deliverables.
• Edit all photos and video clips to ensure they meet professional standards and the agreed-upon style.
• Bring your own lighting equipment if necessary for the shoot.
• Work within the specified timeline, ensuring all deliverables are submitted by September 15th.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event photography and videography, with a portfolio demonstrating previous work, preferably in similar settings.
• Access to high-quality photography and videography equipment, including lighting if needed.
• Ability to capture candid and dynamic moments in a lively and social environment.
• Availability to work during the specified time and meet the tight turnaround for deliverables.

• Experience working with models or actors during shoots.
• Ability to provide additional actors/models for the shoot, with compensation to be negotiated.
