About the position

As an Account Manager on the Sales team at Asure, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with current customers. Your role will involve uncovering opportunities to leverage Asure's portfolio of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to enhance workplace environments for both current and future workforces. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, including prospecting, conducting discovery calls, and collaborating with internal experts to close new business deals.

Responsibilities

  • Build business relationships with current customers to uncover opportunities.
  • Profile clients and key contact points to establish Client Opportunity Profiles.
  • Manage existing client accounts and develop long-term relationships with key contacts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' short and long-term needs.
  • Identify opportunities within client accounts to enhance the scope of Asure solutions.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations to highlight additional value to clients.
  • Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts and account managers to address client needs.
  • Utilize virtual sales tools to demonstrate Asure solutions and win new business opportunities.
  • Formulate and present proposals outlining the value of proposed Asure solutions.
  • Execute financial agreements that are beneficial for both Asure and clients.
  • Maintain and manage client group and sales funnel to exceed assigned goals.
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to manage and report sales results.
  • Track transactions in Salesforce.com and report information to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions preferred.
  • Experience selling HCM or HR Software solutions preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple engagements effectively.
  • Proven relationship building and client service skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Pro-active, results-oriented, and team-oriented approach to sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and other virtual selling tools such as GoToMeeting or Webex.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Track record of consistent over-achievement towards assigned goals.
