About the position

The HCM Business Analyst I at ADP plays a crucial role in the implementation and optimization of ADP products and services, particularly in the context of financial ERP systems. This position requires a strong understanding of ADP products and regional operating systems, and involves working on complex projects that span multiple departments. The analyst serves as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that business requirements are met and that projects are delivered successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a key contributor in the analysis of client business needs and the development and implementation of processes, programs, technology, and procedures.
  • Serves as a liaison between regional and group staff departments to analyze business requirements based on comprehensive scope of work/needs analysis.
  • Responsible for delivering key components of the Statement of Work (SOW) and optimizing ADP solutions for Major Accounts clients.
  • May function in a project lead capacity, coordinating and overseeing the work of less experienced HCM Business Analysts.
  • Monitors and reports the status of assigned projects/SOWs, identifying any issues that might delay final results or deliverables.
  • Analyzes the impact of new or revised products, programs, system migrations, and procedures on the pending SOW/Client Advisory Services Engagement.
  • Identifies potential problems and participates in resolving them with other departments.
  • Develops resources to support Client Advisory Services in implementing new products, programs, systems, and procedures.
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of applicable products, regional operating systems, and procedures by participating in focus groups, product committees, and business conferences.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in implementation, project services, technical services, client services, or TLM.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of financial ERPs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge in all ADP Workforce Management Solutions including AutoPay/Payroll platforms.
  • Knowledge of service and operations workflow methods, procedures, and various ADP operating systems.
  • Experience in the implementation and/or optimization of new ADP Products and services.
