About the position

The HCM Business Systems Analyst will join the IT Applications team at Powell, focusing on maintaining and supporting Oracle EBS/Cloud applications related to Human Capital Management. This role is dynamic and challenging, requiring collaboration with HR users to enhance solutions and ensure accurate transactional data and reporting. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support multiple Oracle EBS/Cloud applications related to Human Capital Management.
  • Review, analyze, and resolve ongoing customer requests.
  • Collaborate with HR users to develop and enhance solutions for accurate transactional data and reporting.
  • Configure and maintain both Production and Non-Production environments for development efforts and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop functional specifications for mappings/interfaces, packages, procedures, and scheduled jobs.
  • Support the development of training materials and assist in delivering training content to business users.
  • Assist business end users in troubleshooting and identifying root causes of system errors.
  • Provide production support for various modules and business systems within the supported area.
  • Ensure on-time and quality completion of assigned tasks throughout the IT project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of functional experience with Oracle HCM applications.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 HCM applications and Oracle HCM Cloud Modules, including Benefits, Core HR, Performance, and Learning.
  • Experience in HRIS or IT systems analysis, design, and support.
  • Proactive in delivering value-based results throughout the IT Project Lifecycle.
  • Ability to engage in multiple IT initiatives simultaneously.
  • Understanding of IT Software Development Lifecycle concepts and methodologies.
  • Very good organizational, communication, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
