About the position

The HCM Business Systems Sr Specialist at Stride, Inc. is responsible for supporting and facilitating the Workday HR platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions related to various HR functions, with a focus on improving efficiency in talent acquisition and overall application productivity. The specialist will collaborate with stakeholders to provide innovative solutions and address system issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance with HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain HR technology systems and data, overseeing project implementation and configuration of HR software.
  • Provide technical support and training for HR staff on system use and troubleshoot issues.
  • Stay updated on HR technology trends and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Participate and lead HR technology projects, collaborating with IT departments for system integrations.
  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends.
  • Identify areas for improvement in existing HR systems and business processes to achieve operational excellence.
  • Define current and future state business processes and document process flows.
  • Advocate for process improvements and help develop solutions.
  • Regularly communicate new features and benefits to stakeholders.
  • Improve training and operational procedures to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM
  • 8+ years of HRIS experience with large ERP implementation
  • Strong knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and practices
  • Proficiency in MS 365 and web technologies
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to clear required background check

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Computer Science
  • Experience with Global HCM ERPs (Workday, Oracle)
  • Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Strong project management skills
