About the position

The HCM IS Systems Analyst at Indiana University Health is responsible for supporting a suite of HR applications designed to enhance the employee experience. This hybrid role involves collaborating with Senior Analysts and Leadership to manage software technologies such as Oracle HCM Cloud and UKG Pro Time and Attendance. The analyst will document business requirements, conduct testing, configure systems, and maintain data integrity while supporting the full HR lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

  • Supports strategic initiatives in collaboration between IT and business units for the development, implementation, and support of new systems and enhancements.
  • Assesses and interprets customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications, document and test system requirements.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with the development team to configure, maintain, and upgrade the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other related software under general supervision.
  • Assists with maintaining the security of operating systems.
  • Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of ERP applications.
  • Solves moderately complex problems.
  • Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of experience in one or both of the following areas: Experience in single business area and application (package and custom).
  • Experience implementing or supporting ERP related applications.
  • Experience with professional software.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions.
  • Experience with process modeling requirements and test plans.

  • Prior HCM or WFM experience

  • Experience troubleshooting system issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written interpersonal communication skills
