Yes No Location 125 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28204 Full job description Overview: Hours: 8-430p Travel Required: Charlotte & Winston-Salem The HCT and Cellular Therapy Quality/Data Coordinators are an essential part of the quality assurance and process improvement activities of the Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Program in partnership with the cross-market Novant Health TCT Quality Team. This position collaborates with supportive multidisciplinary teams and all aspects of TCT service lines including: apheresis, cell processing lab, providers, pharmacy, nursing, and inpatient/outpatient clinical units. The position reports to the HCT Quality Manager to achieve TCT Program and organizational objectives. The HCT Quality/Data Coordinator to align program practice with the standards of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), to assist with FACT accreditation readiness and readily assists the TCT Data Manager with Center for International Blood & Marrow Research (CIBMTR) reporting and auditing. Qualifications: Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Science, Data Management, Healthcare Statistics, or Nursing, required. Graduate Degree in Science, Data Management, Healthcare Statistics, or Nursing, preferred. Experience: 2 Years Clinical research or hospital setting. Knowledge of hematology, federal designated hemophilia treatment center processes and standards, required. Licensure/certification/registration: Current Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certification, required. Current NC RN, if BSN, or Data Management Certification if other than BSN, preferred. Additional skills preferred: Ability to complete generic or department specific competencies. Ability to work with management teams and physicians; demonstrate interpersonal skills and communication skills. Able to work independently without close supervision. Demonstration of high energy and flexibility to accommodate one program's interest in two locations. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with attention to fine detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to be vested in the culture and nuisances of the TCT Program. Desire to learn and master basic fundamentals of TCT and be a lifelong learner of ongoing advancements and improvement in TCT practice. Must maintain a cooperative and positive attitude. Knowledge of HCT and cellular therapy processes, including mobilization, apheresis, conditioning regimens, HCT/cellular product infusion, pre and post TCT patient care, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) therapies and complications, Center for International Blood & Marrow Research (CIBMTR) reporting, and standards of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) preferred.
