About the position

The HCV-Housing Choice Voucher Case Manager at Biloxi Housing Authority is responsible for managing a caseload of up to 400 Housing Choice Voucher participants. This role involves overseeing admissions, voucher issuance, and ensuring continued eligibility while maintaining strong relations with landlord participants. The position also includes providing administrative support and front-line customer service within the HCV Department.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 400 Housing Choice Voucher participants.
• Oversee admissions and voucher issuance processes.
• Ensure continued eligibility of participants in the HCV program.
• Maintain effective relations with landlord participants.
• Provide administrative support to the HCV Department.
• Assist with intake responsibilities and customer service for HCV participants.

Requirements

• Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college with major coursework in Management, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field and two years of experience in the administration of the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
• High school diploma or GED with four years of experience in the administration of a Housing Choice Voucher Program.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by BHA.
