About the position

The HDNU Business Operations & Lean Manager at GE Vernova is a pivotal role responsible for leading the operationalization of the HDNU Lean & Business Operations Strategy. This position emphasizes the prioritization and execution of Lean Initiatives, fostering a One-Team approach that drives systemic transformation and evolution within the business. The manager will work closely with a highly cross-functional team to identify inefficiencies and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering best-in-class operational performance based on the GE Vernova Way. In this role, the manager will shape and operationalize the continuous improvement vision across specific areas of the HDNU organization, translating this vision into actionable goals, objectives, and strategies that facilitate cross-functional transformation. The manager will partner with various teams to align and prioritize critical efforts, delivering consistent, measurable, and sustainable results through Lean Roadmaps. This includes building and driving operational, process, and Lean capabilities, supporting the implementation of an operating rhythm that enables transformation, and leveraging Lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. As an ambassador for Operations, Continuous Improvement, and Lean practices, the manager will coach and communicate best practices to accelerate cross-functional results, promote the deployment of standards, and ensure the sustainment of Lean principles across the organization. This role requires a strong focus on collaboration, effective communication, and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within GE Vernova.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Operationalization of Continuous Improvement Initiatives for the business
  • Shape and operationalize the continuous improvement vision for specific areas across the HDNU organization
  • Translate the vision into goals, objectives and strategies resulting in cross-functional transformation
  • Partner as One Team across the business to align, prioritize and focus on critical efforts
  • Deliver consistent, measurable, and sustainable year-over-year results through Lean Roadmaps
  • Build and Drive best-in-class Operational, Process and Lean Capabilities for the business
  • Partner with Operating teams to support and lead implementation of an operating rhythm that enables transformation
  • Leverage Lean Methodology to drive Continuous Improvement on priority areas
  • Support cross-functional teams in building problem solving capabilities and leading kaizen events
  • Serve as an Operations, Continuous Improvement & Lean Ambassador for the business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge
  • 7+ years of experience in ITO or OTR operations
  • Strong proven track record of results using Lean methodologies
