About the position

The Head Coach & Community Manager at [solidcore] is a full-time role responsible for leading fitness classes, developing coaching staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the studio's success and the company's mission to be a leading boutique fitness studio. The Head Coach will coach an average of 15 classes per week while also engaging in community outreach and operational tasks to enhance studio performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead coach for the studio, maintaining a full schedule of 15+ classes per week.
• Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches.
• Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience consistent with [solidcore] standards.
• Meet company utilization and retention expectations on both individual and studio levels.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the studio as directed by the Area Manager.
• Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and create long-term community partnerships.
• Provide coach development through informal and formal feedback, assisting with new coach training.
• Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively.
• Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations, including class packages and promotions.
• Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies and conducting inventory.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
