About the position
The Head Volleyball Coach for the Strongsville City School District is responsible for leading and developing the middle school volleyball program for both 7th and 8th grade teams. This role involves coaching student-athletes, organizing practices, and ensuring a positive and competitive environment for the players.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams.
- Organize and conduct practices and training sessions.
- Develop game strategies and prepare the team for competitions.
- Foster a positive team culture and promote sportsmanship among players.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
Requirements
- Previous Head Coach experience or extensive Assistant Coach experience.
- Pupil Activity Permit (ODE) certification.
- Completion of Coaches' Toolchest Courses.
- Clear BCI/FBI Background Check.
