About The Position

The Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at Benedictine University is responsible for the overall development, conduct, and supervision of the women's volleyball program. The coach will focus on recruiting student-athletes, planning training activities, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting the program within the university and community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Previous collegiate coaching experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective student athletes to maintain a competitive program in the Great Southwest Athletic Conference.
• Plan, develop, and direct all team training and conditioning activities to achieve competitive leadership in the California Pacific Conference.
• Manage the operating and fundraising budget, including attendance at fundraising events and planning alumni events.
• Ensure adherence to NAIA, GSAC, and institutional rules and regulations regarding student-athlete eligibility and compliance.
• Assist the Athletics Department with various initiatives as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
