About the position

The Head Cross Country Coach for Ludington Area Schools will oversee and manage the cross country program for the 2025-2026 school year. This part-time position involves developing training programs, mentoring student-athletes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the cross country program.
• Develop and implement training programs for student-athletes.
• Create opportunities for feeder programs to learn and grow in the sport.
• Communicate with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and the community.
• Ensure compliance with all Ludington Area School District and MHSAA rules and regulations.
• Serve as a mentor for student-athletes, promoting their athletic, academic, and personal growth.

Requirements

• Must possess a CDL A license.
• Experience in coaching cross country at a senior level.
