About the position

The Diversity Strategy Lead at Bristol-Myers Squibb is responsible for enhancing diversity in clinical trials by developing and implementing strategic plans that engage various patient demographics. This role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of diversity initiatives, ultimately aiming to increase the representation of diverse populations in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a diversity plan to enhance clinical trial awareness among various patient groups.
• Engage with stakeholders within Global Clinical Operations and R&D to align efforts for enhancing diversity in clinical trials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with diversity-focused sites and patient organizations to inform recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to ensure awareness of diversity-focused initiatives and align ongoing efforts.
• Contribute to the site selection process by recommending sites that represent diverse patient populations relevant to specific studies.
• Drive awareness of external diversity initiatives and explore novel engagement tactics.
• Communicate BMS's vision for clinical trials to external organizations, establishing BMS as a leader in patient engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical clinical development industry.
• Expertise in change management principles and project management of clinical trials.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, particularly with senior leaders.
