About the position

Rho is seeking a visionary Head of Brand Marketing to lead its in-house branding efforts and act as the internal branding agency. This role is pivotal in shaping and evolving Rho's brand identity, overseeing brand strategy, and managing a team of brand designers. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with strategic insight to ensure the brand resonates with the target audience and stands out in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the internal creative agency, providing direction for all brand-related projects and campaigns.
  • Create and execute Rho's comprehensive brand strategy, aligning with company goals and values.
  • Mentor and manage a team of brand designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency across all initiatives.
  • Develop and implement brand measurement strategies, analyzing data to drive decisions and optimize brand performance.
  • Educate and align the company around Rho's brand message and personality.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovative branding techniques.
  • Oversee the development of brand assets across all mediums, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to refine brand positioning and messaging.
  • Oversee and optimize the brand department's budget.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in branding, with 3+ years in a management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful brand strategies.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand identity development and creative direction.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of design principles, trends, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working with fintech or B2B brands preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and project management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or related field; MBA is a plus.
