About the position

The Head of Commercial at DeepSight Technology is responsible for leading the global commercial strategy, sales, marketing, and customer success initiatives for the company's innovative medical devices. This role is crucial for positioning products in the market, fostering relationships with healthcare providers, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the executive team to execute growth strategies and establish DeepSight as a leader in the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy, including go-to-market plans for NeedleVue™, OnPoint™ Imaging, EchoLux™, and other DeepSight products.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global sales team, establishing clear sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels for revenue generation.
  • Develop strategies for customer engagement and retention, ensuring healthcare providers are educated and satisfied with DeepSight products.
  • Stay informed of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to adapt the commercial strategy accordingly.
  • Manage commercial budget and P&L to ensure financial performance aligns with corporate goals.
  • Work closely with R&D, regulatory, and clinical teams to align commercial efforts with product development and clinical outcomes.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders, medical professionals, and healthcare organizations to drive product adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial leadership role within the medical device or healthcare technology sector.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and scaling commercial operations for innovative medical products.
  • Strong understanding of medical device sales channels, including direct sales and distributor models.
  • Experience in launching new products, developing go-to-market strategies, and managing successful product lifecycles.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced ultrasound technologies, medical imaging, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments (FDA, CE) and medical device commercialization processes.
  • Established network within the medical device and healthcare provider community.
