The Head of Content at Ripley PR is a senior-level role responsible for leading the content team and creating high-quality content for various media platforms. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in content creation, SEO, and marketing, who can effectively manage client relationships and ensure the delivery of exceptional content. The role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and the ability to drive results for both the agency and its clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the content team and oversee day-to-day content production and quality control.
• Work closely with clients to develop and execute effective content strategies.
• Write and develop content for agency and client collateral, including press releases, blogs, and social media calendars.
• Conduct daily huddles with the content team to ensure project goals are met on time.
• Consult with brand managers and other department heads during client meetings to provide strategic recommendations.
• Coach and mentor content specialists to improve their skills and client service.
• Maintain reference libraries of client source material and competitor content.
• Stay current with web trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in content creation with a focus on SEO and marketing.
• 4+ years of agency and/or management experience is a plus.
• Strong planning, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with content management systems.
• Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies.
