About the position

The Head of Design is responsible for managing the layout and utilization of workplace services while driving technological innovation in workplace tools to enhance the employee experience. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop workspace designs that balance cost and quality, ensuring that the future needs of colleagues are met. The position also focuses on continuous improvement of workplace performance and employee engagement through strategic initiatives and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to develop workspace design that balances cost and quality.
• Engage with architects and consultants to understand trends and benchmarks for workplace design standards.
• Provide design governance and a playbook to ensure consistent workplace and amenities outcomes.
• Measure and evaluate workplace performance to evolve flexible design standards.
• Engage early in the site selection process to validate location suitability for business needs.
• Collect workplace requirements and vision from stakeholders at the start of each capital project.
• Partner with ESG communities to ensure workplace solutions meet their needs.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of workplace design and employee experience strategies.
• Experience in managing workplace services and technological innovations.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders effectively.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining business intelligence data related to workforce analytics and performance metrics.
