About the position

The Head of Direct Sales for Retail Automotive Subscriptions at Ford Motor Company is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of the high-velocity call center team. This role involves managing partner direct sales teams and aligning with various business units to plan and execute sales campaigns. The position aims to establish a repeatable and scalable sales model to achieve product portfolio sales targets across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Ford Integrated Services high velocity call center team.
  • Manage partner direct sales teams and align with business units to plan and deploy sales campaigns.
  • Set strategy, establish goals, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and improve inside sales team processes to provide a high-quality pipeline and revenue streams.
  • Build an inside sales culture focused on team collaboration and efficient sales execution.
  • Coach the inside sales team to penetrate new accounts not covered by existing field sales teams.
  • Identify and implement processes and technology solutions to enhance the sales process and customer journey.
  • Develop and report on key sales metrics in conjunction with Sales Operations via CRM.
  • Collaborate with marketing and data teams to improve lead quality and qualification processes.
  • Work with sales leadership and finance to implement target and commission structures that drive results.
  • Ensure a world-class customer onboarding experience in collaboration with customer success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as an overachieving individual contributor in a high velocity sales environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales tools such as Sales Loft, GongIO, or Salesforce.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • 5-7 years of SAAS sales management experience, preferably in fleet or automotive.
  • Experience in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling inside sales teams.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Post-secondary degree in business or related field.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management experience.
