About the position

The Head of Distribution for Voluntary Benefits and Workplace Benefits at Prudential is responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy for voluntary benefits. This role focuses on driving sales growth through building and maintaining relationships with producers and customers, developing regional goals, and ensuring operational execution. The incumbent collaborates with various internal teams to align on long-term business outcomes and to monitor impacts on profit and growth, while also championing continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the voluntary benefits growth strategy.
  • Drive sales growth through building and maintaining producer and customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement regional goals for the sales team.
  • Monitor operational execution and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to understand and satisfy producer and customer needs.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top regional sales talent.
  • Partner with Distribution leadership to achieve shared sales and retention goals.
  • Work closely with Strategic Distribution Partners to advance market position and develop growth strategies.
  • Ensure Distribution employees have the right tools and resources to grow market share.
  • Champion continuous improvement to increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in the Voluntary Benefits marketplace and executive leadership.
  • Ability to drive and deliver results in a shared goal organization.
  • Proven ability to create a positive work environment with a focus on transparency, execution, and teamwork.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and partnership skills.
  • Forward thinking, profitable growth mindset leader.
