About the position

The Head of Electrical Services at Siemens is responsible for managing the Electrical Services business, focusing on servicing low and medium voltage power distribution and control products. This role involves defining the overall strategy and roadmap for the electrical services offering, driving organizational growth plans, and ensuring competitive advantage through innovation and collaboration with various business units. The position aims to enhance market share and profit margins while fostering a proactive network within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define rollout strategy, lifecycle, and local positioning of the assigned electrical services portfolio.
  • Design, implement, drive, and continuously monitor organizational growth plans to increase order intake, market share, and profit margins.
  • Build and develop a robust, engaged, and growth-oriented network within the Building organization.
  • Shape the team and effectively lead towards strategic goals.
  • Ensure constant observation of relevant markets, including competitor activities and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor performance of key portfolio elements in close contact with sales and partners, deriving necessary actions for growth.
  • Responsible for localization of sales enablement and technical documentation.
  • Initiate internal and external portfolio trainings and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in leading a portfolio organization and Business Development/Sales in the electrical power distribution industry.
  • Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related electrical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and lead across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to build and develop a robust, engaged network within the Building organization.
  • Firsthand experience interfacing into a global organization.
  • A strategic-innovative mindset with strong results orientation.
  • High level of communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Software, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA highly preferred.
  • Proven sales and business development experience.
  • Experience in strategy development and defining organizational goals.
  • Executive level leadership and negotiation skills.
