About the position

The Head of Enterprise Change Management & Strategic Programs at Wells Fargo is a senior executive role responsible for providing vision and direction for high-impact initiatives within Change Management. This position involves developing comprehensive change management frameworks, managing enterprise-wide change processes, and contributing to corporate strategy execution. The role requires strong leadership to influence management levels and ensure effective change management practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision and set direction for multiple high-risk, high-impact initiatives within Change Management.
  • Define and manage the organization's Enterprise Change Management function, including a comprehensive change management framework.
  • Develop long-term, broad-reaching business strategies for Change Management.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of corporate strategy.
  • Provide information and recommendations to more experienced executives.
  • Influence all management levels and provide expertise to the Chief Executive Officer and other executive team members.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Change Implementation.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
  • Define and drive the company's workforce and location strategy.
  • Lead delivery of critical change programs across both the COO organization and the Enterprise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Change Implementation experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5+ years of Management experience.
  • Strong risk experience including regulatory compliance, oversight, and control experience of operational processes and services.
  • Operational experience through systems integrations, change, and governance of operational change management.
  • Experience creating and executing transformational strategic plans in a large organization.
  • Strong execution and track record delivering strategic and transformational changes.
  • Proven ability to identify business risks and process inefficiencies and execute process improvements.
  • Experience in solving complex challenges through critical thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Significant exposure to regulatory agencies and internal audit assessments.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Proven collaboration skills to achieve organizational solutions.
  • Strong level of general business acumen and ability to think conceptually.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a large financial services organization with progressively increased responsibilities.
  • Experience presenting executive summaries and presentations for senior leaders and regulators.
  • Virtual leadership experience with a geographically dispersed team.
