About the position

The Head of Events at iManage is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, and execution of a comprehensive events program aimed at driving brand awareness, engaging customers and prospects, and supporting business growth. This role involves orchestrating both large-scale global conferences and intimate events, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high-value content that resonates with diverse audiences. The position requires a data-driven, creative leader who excels in team management and cross-department collaboration within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the global event strategy including virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
  • Manage a comprehensive calendar of events, including industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and partner events.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop compelling event agendas that address key industry trends and customer challenges.
  • Curate a diverse range of speakers to deliver high-value content at events.
  • Oversee all event logistics from concept through execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Partner closely with sales, demand generation, and marketing teams to ensure event goals align with business priorities.
  • Manage the events budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maximizing impact.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure event success and improve future performance.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing events team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in events management, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role, managing teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large event budgets efficiently.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms, CRM systems (Salesforce), and marketing automation tools (Marketo).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
