About the position

The Head of Finance - Systems Transformation at Aspire Bakeries is a pivotal role focused on leading the transformation of enterprise systems that enhance business execution, performance, and accountability. This position requires collaboration with various teams to implement a new enterprise management system, ensuring alignment with financial integrity and operational processes. The role reports directly to the CFO and CIO, emphasizing the importance of financial insights in the transformation process.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the optimization and implementation of a new enterprise management system across the organization
• Collaborate with cross subject area team members to validate project assumptions and ensure accurate documentation of scope of work
• Drive the efforts of the Finance team to execute workstreams supporting the overall project plan
• Gather requirements from the Finance team and assist in optimizing enterprise processes that integrate with Finance oversight
• Identify suitable technology solutions to be applied for management review and approval
• Collaborate with IT to manage all aspects of technology projects
• Assess new technology solutions and provide recommendations for Finance and Operational management
• Manage the scope and timeline of all Finance related technology projects
• Assess potential future impact of new initiatives to the Finance team
• Lead the process design and project management process
• Provide business analysis and accounting systems knowledge support for the transition or integration of established modules
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions by applying SME knowledge of applications and accounting processes
• Participate in supporting current applications, including maintenance, issue resolution, user administration, enhancements, and upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; CPA desirable
• Solid understanding of accounting systems and processes
• Strong practical knowledge of financial and operational business processes
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of project/process design, testing, and documentation

Nice-to-haves

• CPA or CMA license, or equivalent
• PMP or other professional project management certification
• Six Sigma certification
• Food & Beverage industry/accounting knowledge and ERP systems (SAP ECC and S4/HANA) experience highly desirable
