The Head of Financing Solutions Portfolio Finance Quants, Managing Director role at State Street involves leading the development and implementation of quantitative models to enhance portfolio finance strategies. This position is crucial for supporting strategic decision-making in Agency Lending, Prime Services, and Secured Financing, while also leveraging advanced technology and analytics to optimize trading and improve client portfolio values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative models in collaboration with the Head of Portfolio Finance.
• Define and source data requirements to support strategic decision making for Agency Lending, Prime Services, and Secured Financing.
• Design and build dashboards and reports that provide insights into key business metrics.
• Collaborate with Client Management and Trading to implement portfolio analytics and optimization tools.
• Source market and peer data and aggregate and streamline output to glean insights on market trends.
• Develop resource calculators and 'what if' tools (e.g., RWA, Liquidity) including actuals and forecasts.
• Collaborate with State Street Associates to leverage machine learning and AI to develop research offerings for internal and external consumption.
• Provide oversight and guidance for technical aspects of E-Trading for Agency Lending and Prime Services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Financial Services in quantitative, technical roles.
• Proficiency in programming skills and languages (e.g., Python, C++).
• Master's or PhD in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative field preferred.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus.
