About the position

The World-Wide Field Enablement (WWFE) organization at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Global Enablement Programs (GEP). This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and execution of foundational enablement programs designed to empower a field team of over 40,000 sellers. The GEP team is responsible for a variety of core programs, including onboarding, quarterly enablement, prospecting, and role-based enablement specifically tailored for Managers and Sales Operations. A significant focus will also be placed on solutions and services related to generative AI, ensuring that the enablement programs are not only relevant but also cutting-edge. As the leader of the GEP team, you will oversee a diverse group of program leaders, managers, designers, and strategists who collaborate across the WWFE to deliver high-quality enablement experiences. Your responsibilities will include defining and building new enablement programs, connecting existing programs to create a unified framework, and establishing a certification process that allows the field to continuously upskill. This role requires a strategic mindset, as you will work backwards from the needs of the field to develop and implement effective enablement strategies within a highly matrixed organization. In addition to leading the team, you will be a core member of the WWFE leadership team, contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the organization. You will engage with leaders across AWS to build trust and ensure the successful rollout and adoption of WWFE programs. Your team will have a significant impact on thousands of employees each year, helping them to create exceptional experiences for their customers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud concepts, experience in making multi-million-dollar investment decisions, and familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly in the generative AI space.
