About the position

The World-Wide Field Enablement (WWFE) organization at Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Global Enablement Programs (GEP). This role is pivotal in shaping the strategy and execution of foundational enablement programs designed to maximize the potential of over 40,000 field sellers. The GEP team, composed of program leaders, managers, designers, and strategists, collaborates across WWFE to deliver exceptional enablement experiences. The core programs under this leader's purview include onboarding, quarterly enablement, prospecting, role-based enablement for managers and sales operations, and solutions and services, with a particular focus on generative AI. The team is also tasked with defining and building new enablement programs and creating a unified framework for continuous upskilling of the field sellers to enhance customer delivery. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will work backwards from the needs of the field to define the enablement strategy within a complex, matrixed organization. They will ensure the relevance and adoption of global programs, evolve and develop state-of-the-art enablement initiatives, and scale new programs while fostering a culture of hiring and developing top talent within the organization. As a core member of the WWFE leadership team, this individual will have high visibility and will drive significant customer impact, reaching thousands of employees annually and helping them create exceptional experiences for their customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in leading teams, solving ambiguous problems, and building impactful global programs for large employee bases. A deep understanding of cloud concepts, experience in making multi-million-dollar investment decisions, and familiarity with emerging technologies, particularly in the generative AI space, are essential for success in this role.
