About the position

The Head of Growth and Demand Generation will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth strategy of a dynamic Series A cloud computing startup. This position involves designing and implementing comprehensive demand generation strategies, executing multi-channel campaigns, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align efforts with business objectives. The role requires a strong focus on data analytics to measure campaign performance and optimize strategies, while also managing budgets and conducting market research to identify opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive demand generation strategy that includes both organic and paid marketing efforts.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align demand generation efforts with overall business objectives and sales goals.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize strategies, and report on key metrics such as lead quality, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Create and manage demand generation budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities, challenges, and emerging trends in the industry.
  • Work with the marketing team to produce high-quality, relevant content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Implement lead scoring systems to prioritize leads and develop nurturing programs that guide prospects through the sales funnel.

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a Growth Marketing Lead or in a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience; startup background preferred.
  • Familiarity with tech or cloud services; AWS experience required, Google Cloud nice to have.
  • Ability to craft engaging content and campaigns that capture attention.
