About the position

As the head of Growth Marketing at Belong, you will be responsible for generating new qualified homeowner leads for the sales team, hitting strict cost-per-lead targets and quality scores, as well as nurturing the sales pipeline with automation and content. This includes setting channel strategy, leading creative development workstreams, setting performance targets, owning channel execution, running performance analysis, and implementing daily optimizations. This is a hybrid role that includes both team management and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the broader DemandGen efforts at Belong, including Paid Channels, Organic Channels, Email/SMS automations, Content Development, and Creative Development.
  • Inspire and lead the team while setting the vision for Belong's growth efforts.
  • Manage the team running paid channels including Paid Search, Outbound Calling, and Affiliate Marketing, ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Spend 25-30% of time running a channel as an individual contributor, potentially launching new channels.
  • Develop a test-and-learn plan to improve spend efficiency based on customer empathy and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with content writers and graphic designers to create new landing pages, ads, and targeting ideas.
  • Provide visibility on the health and status of acquisition programs through reports and analytics meetings.
  • Set up and manage tracking tags across all performance marketing channels using Google Tag Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
  • 6+ years of experience in growth marketing with a focus on channel management and lead generation.
  • Proven track record of driving performance improvements within strict CPA or CPL targets.
  • Hands-on experience running paid channels or managing a team that does is essential.
  • Prior experience in real estate, property management, or residential construction is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
