About the position

SoLo Funds is seeking a highly innovative VP of Growth to lead the dual-sided audience-first strategy and execution of both paid and organic growth opportunities. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of SoLo's marketplace, leveraging performance marketing and brand strategies to enhance user engagement and retention. The VP of Growth will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize growth technology and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's mission to provide alternative financial solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and craft a comprehensive marketing strategy for a discerning marketplace business.
  • Drive and lead network effects growth.
  • Analyze and measure the impact of marketing strategies and build out measurement tools, practices, and processes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in marketing and growth technology, optimizing the existing platform landscape.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, and product teams to drive implementation and adoption of growth technology.
  • Create a comprehensive growth strategy that includes product marketing and CRM initiatives.
  • Manage a team of cross-functional marketers and support marketing and creative needs throughout the organization.
  • Own the website and all owned and operated channels.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience with evidence of increasing responsibility in product management, marketing, or growth.
  • Prior marketplace experience.
  • Experience with Braze or similar marketing technology.
  • Strategic and tactical experience in designing, building, and executing scalable processes in an operations-intensive environment.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for working on cross-functional teams and projects.
