About the position

As the Director of Growth Marketing at Airbyte, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our demand generation strategy aimed at driving new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships. This position is integral to our go-to-market strategy, focusing on generating a qualified sales pipeline that aligns with our product-led growth philosophy. You will work closely with various teams, including sales, product, and finance, to ensure that our marketing efforts are in sync with the overall business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in coaching and developing your team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing marketing systems that support our demand generation initiatives. You will analyze and report on the performance of these initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive growth. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in demand generation and marketing operations will be essential to your success. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow our marketing organization from the ground up, as you will be part of the executive team and report directly to the co-founder of Airbyte.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and finance teams to align demand generation efforts with business goals and objectives.
  • Coach and grow your team.
  • Implement and optimize marketing systems to support demand generation and marketing operations.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of demand generation and marketing operations initiatives, and drive the strategy forward.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in demand generation and marketing operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in demand generation and growth marketing
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B and infrastructure/devtools experience (experience with open-source products is a plus)
  • Excellent project management skills, driving velocity among your team
  • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of GTM systems (including CRM, marketing automation, warm outbound tools, etc.)
  • Alignment with company values
