About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Manufacturing Director to oversee manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution center operations across multiple sites within North America, with a central base in Tucson, Arizona. This role will focus on maintaining the highest safety standards, optimizing operational performance, implementing global best practices, and enhancing leadership capabilities across all layers. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing multi-site manufacturing and logistics operations, fostering stakeholder engagement, and aligning regional activities with global strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture, ensuring compliance with North American health, safety, and environmental regulations across manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution center operations.
  • Develop safety programs, conduct regular audits, and implement risk mitigation strategies for all operational areas, including material handling, storage, and distribution.
  • Oversee multi-site manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution center operations to ensure productivity, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery of goods.
  • Optimize production workflows, resource allocation, and logistics operations using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Tailor global manufacturing and logistics standards to North American requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational consistency across production and distribution networks.
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement best practices, innovative technologies, and operational improvements in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Mentor and develop leaders at manufacturing sites, warehouses, and distribution centers, fostering a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through succession planning, structured training programs, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between North American manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations and global leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulatory authorities, and local communities, to strengthen the supply chain and customer experience.
  • Align manufacturing and logistics strategies with global objectives and North American market needs, ensuring seamless integration between production and distribution.
  • Drive capacity planning, optimize warehouse layouts, streamline supply chains, and identify growth opportunities to ensure long-term success.

Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in multi-site manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution center operations, with a focus on North American markets.
  • Proven expertise in safety leadership, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, supply chain optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Certified in Lean and/or Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
