About the position

The Senior Director of US Market Analytics at Galderma is responsible for analyzing commercial data to generate actionable insights that influence key business decisions. This role focuses on driving product growth strategies, brand building, and creating a marketing analytics strategy to measure ROI. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute plans and report findings effectively, while also leading commercial forecasting and understanding market conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical leadership through data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions related to product development, marketing, and sales.
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics techniques and algorithms to assess patient journeys and treatment pathways.
  • Plan and implement the overall marketing analytics strategy and define KPIs to track trends and market share.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on commercial data and provide timely insights.
  • Drive performance narratives and develop data visualizations for cross-functional forums and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial forecasting efforts and maintain dynamic forecast models for planning purposes.
  • Integrate data from various sources into predictive forecasts and market assessments.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address key business questions and anticipate stakeholder needs.
  • Provide pricing analytics and assess commercial spend effectiveness to support brand performance.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of Business Insights Analysts.
  • Manage vendor partners and associated budgets, optimizing resources and project leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industry consulting, with 10+ years in advanced analytics or commercial operations roles.
  • Strong understanding of specialty markets, particularly dermatology and immunology.
  • Deep experience in market research, data analysis, and customer insights.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources such as prescription and sales data, patient claims data, and specialty pharmacy data.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal leaders and negotiate through complex challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail and ability to act decisively in uncertain situations.
  • Experience in leading teams in a matrix environment without direct authority.
