About the position

Wowza Media Systems, a trusted leader in mission-critical video streaming solutions, is looking for a Head of Marketing / Head of Growth to lead and elevate our marketing function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive strategic demand generation, website optimization, and pipeline growth to power our enterprise-focused sales motion. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will lead a talented team, develop innovative marketing strategies, and deliver predictable results that directly impact Wowza's growth trajectory. This person is required to be in the Denver metro area and able to be on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Marketing Function: Oversee all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with Wowza's business goals and driving predictable demand generation.
  • Be Results-Oriented: Deliver measurable outcomes through effective demand generation and sales enablement strategies, with robust reporting to track and optimize performance.
  • Coach and Mentor the Team: Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to a team of 8-10 marketing professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
  • Drive Demand Generation: Implement data-driven campaigns that consistently deliver high-quality leads and drive sales growth across key enterprise customer segments.
  • Enhance Website and Digital Presence: Optimize the website and digital channels to effectively communicate Wowza's value proposition and convert visitors into high-quality leads.
  • Build Community and Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to build an engaged customer and prospect community through webinars, forums, and targeted campaigns.
  • Develop Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Utilize Data and Analytics: Leverage data insights to drive personalized marketing campaigns, optimize performance, and continuously improve ROI.
  • Focus on Digital Excellence: Lead strategies across SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing to maximize visibility and engagement.
