About the position

Wowza Media Systems is seeking a Head of Marketing / Head of Growth to lead and enhance its marketing function. This role involves driving strategic demand generation, optimizing the website, and fostering pipeline growth to support enterprise-focused sales. The position requires a hands-on leader who can develop innovative marketing strategies and deliver measurable results that contribute to the company's growth trajectory. The Head of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and is expected to be on-site in the Denver metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of marketing strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Deliver measurable outcomes through effective demand generation and sales enablement strategies.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to a team of 8-10 marketing professionals.
  • Implement data-driven campaigns that consistently deliver high-quality leads.
  • Optimize the website and digital channels to communicate the company's value proposition.
  • Develop and execute strategies to build an engaged customer and prospect community.
  • Partner closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Leverage data insights to drive personalized marketing campaigns and optimize performance.
  • Lead strategies across SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in reporting and analytics to measure campaign success.
  • Hands-on experience optimizing website performance and SEO strategies.
  • Experience in designing and executing Product-Led Growth strategies in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional skills in crafting and communicating value propositions.
  • Experience in building engaged communities through webinars and content-driven strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, and social media.
